Walking between two cultures to help close the growing divide

I will be walking over 550km from Manly Beach to Burra Bee Dee Mission while carrying a football the entire way.

This walk represents moving between the two cultures I come from. From one grandmother’s Country to the other’s. Not to erase differences but to build understanding, respect and connection where division, misunderstanding and social isolation have been inherited and normalised over generations.

Along the journey, I will pass through towns, throw the footy, sit in conversation and share stories.

All funds raised will go toward establishing a non-profit foundation focused on advancing mental health and wellbeing by reducing the psychological harm caused by social division, cultural misunderstanding and social isolation across Australia.
